3.AudFree Strictly Abides by the above Regulations
3.1 AudFree Never Circumvents Digital Rights Management Technology
To avoid the 'direct download' action of its protected audio content, almost all streaming music services adopts 'DRM technology' in their digital files. By doing this, only authorized subscribers can access to their music library in their prescribed method.
AudFree complies with this rule and has never tried to circumvent it by using some technical skills. The audio files, such as podcasts, audiobooks, playlists that AudFree tries to record are not protected by related copy-protection measures.
AudFree simply records unencrypted audio data playing from the system's sound device. In addition, none of the songs can be recorded independently using AudFree Software without subscribing to the streaming service.
3.2 AudFree Never Detects Encrypted Music Data
To limits the unauthorized recording way, some contents are encrypted by the platforms and will be decrypted while playing them on authorized devices. AudFree doesn't detect the encrypted music data and won't record and save these contents without authorization.
3.3 AudFree Software is Extraordinary Audio Recorders
AudFree aims to record unprotected digital audio files from the providers. It's necessary to play these music files completely, and then it can create a new music file via the so-called 'recording' method instead of circumventing any protection.
Any open-source free recorder can do the same thing even although AudFree is a bit more professional and easier to use. The recording of music streaming content, which has not been provided with recording protection by the provider, does not circumvent effective protection and it is even possible to get that with "vehicle means".
4. U.S. Copyright Law Stipulates that Copy Protection Shall not Be Circumvented
Before subscribing and using a popular streaming music service, you should sign the agreement of terms and conditions. One of them is that you are not able to record streaming music. Therefore, please check these terms and conditions carefully before using AudFree to record such digital audio files. AudFree will not be liable for any breach of such provisions to which you have agreed.
